Abstract

This Community Service is carried out through mentoring activities for the development of the Baithul Ihklas Mosque design model located on Jalan Inpres Gang Harmonis, Rt 3/RW 11, Perhentian Marpoyan Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. This is a solution to the problem of the need for comfortable and safe worship facilities as well as contextual to the condition of the congregation or community.The problem of existing mosque facilities is quite complex. The problem is that it is less peaceful and comfortable to worship because the process of building a proper mosque for local residents has not yet been completed. This can be seen from the current condition of the Riadul Ihklas mosque, that the building is in the construction stage. New work to the stage of the structure, ceiling and walls on the inside. At Fasat there has been no development at all. Meanwhile, other facilities such as wudu places, parking lots and parks are not yet available properly. Meanwhile, to continue the construction to be effective, efficient and in accordance with the contextual conditions of the mosque, a model drawing of the design of the mosque development is needed. It is hoped that the service activities carried out can solve some of the problems faced by the administrators and the congregation as well as the community around the Baitul Ihklas.
