Pelatihan Rancangan Campuran (Mix Design) Pekerjaan Mortar Geopolimer

Abstract

Mix design and quality control of geopolymer mortar work can be used as a skill for construction service providers (planning consultants, supervisory consultants and work implementers, namely contractors) in carrying out work in the field. Providing mix design skills and quality control of geopolymer mortar work is expected to improve knowledge and quality of concrete work in the future. Provision of these skills is provided in the form of training. However, because geopolymer mortar does not yet have mixture composition regulations issued by the National Standardization Agency, information and knowledge in the community regarding geopolymer mortar is quite minimal. The partner's problem is that they do not have knowledge about geopolymer mortar, do not have the ability to design a mix (mix design) for geopolymer mortar and do not have the ability to control the quality of geopolymer mortar work. The partners involved are construction service providers in Riau Province by sending 10 (ten) members as training participants. The implementation methods used in this community service activity are lectures, practice and discussions. The training time is determined for 2 (two) days, starting at 09.00 WIB and ending at 15.00 WIB. The pre-test results before the training obtained an average score of 43,78 in the poor category (< 40), while the post-test results showed that participants' understanding had increased, namely with an average score of 72,50 in the good category (? 70 - < 85). The increase in the average score of mix design training participants and quality control of geopolymer mortar work was 70,96%, so it can be said that the training participants experienced an increase in knowledge, were able to understand the mix design training material and quality control of mortar work geopolymer well
