Ketahanan Ekonomi Keluarga: Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Dengan Pendekatan New Home Economics

Abstract

This Community service activity addresses the theme of family economic resilience based on the New Home Economic concept. This activity aims to improve the welfare of the Society beneficiaries of the activity as well as to build harmonious relationship between the academic and social of the society. This activity is a collaboration of scientific expertise in economics, education, psychology and law from lecturers in several universities of Riau province. This activity is implemented with a persuasive-normative method approach and the material is delivered with presentation techniques. so that the objectives of the activity can be effectively met due to the active involvement of the committee and participants of the activity. The target audience for this activity is the community that joined the Rukun Tetangga community group in the housing of Mahkota Riau, Jalan Sukakarya, Tuah Madani District, Tuah Karya Village, Pekanbaru City. This target audience involved 86 participants consisting of housewives who did not have a fixed income and there were also child participants. The material is delivered by interactive lecture and discussion method. The level of achievement of the objectives of the service activities.
