Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) is carried out for owners and workers of broiler chicken businesses in residential areas and traditional markets in Bukit Batu District, Bengkalis Regency. Limited knowledge, know-how and understanding of broiler chicken business owners and workers regarding the halal production process and procedures for slaughtering broiler chickens. This PKM aims to provide science, knowledge and understanding, so that broiler chicken business owners and workers can carry out halal production processes, in this case in the form of slaughtering broiler chickens according to sharia. But in reality, owners and workers of broiler chicken businesses in running their business are still different from the instructions for slaughtering broiler chickens which are halal and more toib. The service method is systematic literacy with certain steps. The conclusion from the results of the Community Service carried out is that owners and workers of broiler chicken businesses, both in residential areas and in traditional markets, are still not optimal in implementing halal and toib production processes in the form of sharia slaughtering.
