Abstract

Low levels of digital financial literacy among students have become a critical issue amid the rapid expansion of financial technology in everyday life. This condition may lead to unwise financial behavior and insufficient readiness for achieving economic independence. Therefore, this Community Service program was conducted to enhance the digital financial literacy of students at SMKN 1 Ciruas, Serang Regency, Banten. The program employed interactive lectures, simulations of digital financial applications, hands-on practice in personal financial budgeting, group discussions, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test instruments. The results revealed that the highest improvements were observed in Digital Transaction Security (69.0%) and Budget Planning (66.1%), indicating the effectiveness of the training in areas that were previously the weakest. Overall, the average improvement ranged from 55% to 69%, demonstrating the strong impact of the training and mentoring on students’ understanding and practical application of digital financial literacy. These findings confirm that practice-based digital financial literacy training plays a strategic role in fostering prudent and sustainable financial behavior as a foundation for students’ economic independence.
