Pemberdayaan UMKM Rengginang Melalui Teknologi Pengering Berbasis IoT dan Pendampingan Usaha

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower and increase the productivity of rengginang UMKM in Bukit Payung Village through the application of appropriate technology and business mentoring. The main problem faced by partners is the drying process which is still traditional and dependent on weather conditions, resulting in inconsistent production results and slow production cycles. In addition, partners have not utilized social media as a marketing tool and do not yet have business legality. The service method includes mentoring the implementation of automatic drying technology based on the Internet of Things (IoT), digital marketing socialization, and assistance in processing business legality in the form of P-IRT and halal certification. The results of the activity showed an increase in production capacity that is more stable without being affected by weather with an average N-Gain value of 0.66, indicating the effective implementation of IoT drying technology. In addition, partners' capabilities in digital marketing and ownership of business legality also increased. This program makes a real contribution to the economic independence of partners and emphasizes the importance of integrating appropriate technology in community service activities.
