Pemberdayaan UMKM Desa Pinang Sebatang Barat Melalui Digitalisasi Dan Branding

The Community Service Program of Group 87 was conducted in Pinang Sebatang Barat Village, Tualang Sub-district, Siak Regency, with a focus on the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The main problems faced by the partners included the lack of systematic MSME data collection, weak branding and packaging innovation, limited financial record-keeping, and minimal use of digital marketing. This activity aimed to improve the capacity of MSMEs to manage their businesses more professionally and competitively. The implementation methods included observation and MSME mapping, training on branding, packaging, financial record-keeping, and digital marketing, direct practice assistance, and a mini bazaar as a product promotion event. A total of 10 MSMEs participated in the training, and 7 MSMEs took part in the mini bazaar. The evaluation showed an increase in participants’ understanding, with 80% understanding the concept of branding, 82% able to create labeled packaging, 75% mastering simple financial record-keeping, and 85% successfully creating business accounts for digital marketing. Overall, 90% of participants stated that the activities were beneficial and applicable.
