About the Journal
The Journal of Asian Business and Management (JABM) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Indonesian Accounting Lecturers Association (ADAI). JABM features articles and scholarly works in the fields of Business, Accounting, and Management, including but not limited to the following areas:
Strategic Management
This section explores how companies maintain their competitiveness in a dynamic and evolving business environment. Studies may include both theoretical discussions and applied research based on best practices in organizations and firms.
Human Resources
People and their knowledge are among a company’s most valuable assets. The demand for effective human resource management continues to grow, especially with the advancement of technologies such as artificial intelligence, which can automate various job functions. Research in this area provides insights into the challenges and future developments in the workforce.
Marketing
Marketing has evolved beyond simply creating goods or services that meet customer needs. It now focuses on enhancing customer value and loyalty. With the rise of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), digital marketing has become a key strategy for many companies.
Finance
Topics in this area include strategic financial decision-making, such as capital structure and dividend policies; tactical financing strategies, including initial public offerings, financial restructuring, and lease financing; short-term financial management, covering cash flow, inventory, and receivables management; as well as specialized topics like risk management, bankruptcy, reorganization and liquidation, corporate mergers, and multinational financial management.
Digital Business
Digital businesses leverage technology to create new value in business models, customer experiences, and internal operations. This category includes both digital-native brands and traditional companies that are transforming their operations through digital technologies.
JABM is published twice a year, in January and July, and welcomes submissions from academics, practitioners, and experts in business-related fields. Article submissions must adhere to the JABM template and be accompanied by required supporting documents, including an authorship statement, ethics statement, and copyright statement.
