Community service team, in collaboration with MTs Daarun Najah Teratak Buluh and the Kubang Jaya Health Center, conducted a community service program aimed at preventing and controlling anemia among adolescent girls. This initiative was motivated by the high prevalence of anemia (25%) among adolescent girls in Teratak Buluh Village and the low coverage of iron supplementation (TTD). The efforts included the formation of the "Youth Group Concerned about Anemia (Kerpa)" as a platform for youth empowerment. The activities carried out involved training Kerpa cadres, conducting health education, and screening for anemia. The results showed the successful establishment of a youth empowerment platform, along with improvements in knowledge and skills among adolescents in anemia prevention. This initiative is significant as a collaborative intervention model to enhance the health of adolescent girls, which is expected to contribute to reducing anemia prevalence and stunting risks in the future.
