Abstract

                    One of the problems faced by MSMEs is bookkeeping, namely ignorance of the importance of bookkeeping and ignorance of how to make bookkeeping. This activity aims to provide training on the preparation of simple bookkeeping for Women MSMEs in Sail District, Pekanbaru City. The training was attended by 25 participants. The method used was a tutorial lecture on simple bookkeeping for MSMEs which includes calculating the cost of goods sold, calculating profit and loss, and preparing a balance sheet. The activity was then continued with discussions, questions and answers, and simulations of MSME bookkeeping.  After the training, there was an increase in participants' understanding and knowledge of the importance of bookkeeping for the progress of their business.
