Pengembangan Budidaya Tanaman Sayuran Hidroponik Dengan Memanfaatkan Botol Plastik Di Desa Kerubung Jaya

Abstract

Hydroponics is a growing method that provides plant nutritional needs without using soil. Even though it is relatively practical, many people still don't understand this concept. Meanwhile, the increase in human population is also accompanied by an increase in plastic pollution which is difficult to decompose. Used plastic bottles, a common type of plastic waste, can be used as a hydroponic growing medium. This research aims to introduce the concept of hydroponics to the community, especially to PKK KWT mothers in Kerubung Jaya Village. This community service program also aims to help improve the economy of the community in the village by utilizing plastic waste as a hydroponic planting medium. Through this program, it is hoped that the public can understand more about hydroponics and reduce the amount of plastic waste that is difficult to explain. Therefore, this community service program not only has a positive impact on the environment but also on the economic welfare of the community in Kerubung Jaya Village.
