Abstract

Fertilization is the activity of adding nutrients to the soil, either in the form of chemical fertilizers or organic fertilizers. The increase in the price of artificial fertilizers, as well as the increase in the price of fuel oil (BBM) in 2022 will result in an increase in the price of artificial fertilizers at the community level. This condition encourages an increase in the use of organic fertilizers, besides that the community can produce it themselves, it can also create a healthier and cleaner environment. Based on this description, we consider it necessary to carry out the production and application of Lindi Organic Fertilizer on Yard Plants in RT 02 RW 03 West Rumbai Agrotourism Village, Pekanbaru City. The results of measuring the increase in knowledge and skills as well as participants' assessment of the benefits of the activity show that community service activities like this need to be expanded to other RT areas.
