The community of Hang Tuah Village faces limited land availability, high water consumption, and suboptimal waste management in conventional fish farming. This community service activity aimed to improve local capacity through the implementation of an environmentally friendly integrated aquaponics system to support a sustainable economy. The methods included training, mentoring, and hands-on implementation of household- and group-scale aquaponics systems using locally available materials. The results showed water savings of up to approximately 70%, fish survival rates of about 95%, and optimal plant growth. In addition, 85% of participants were able to operate and maintain the system independently. The aquaponics system provided tangible benefits by strengthening household food security, creating additional income opportunities, and fostering community collaboration, indicating strong potential for replication in other rural areas.
