The eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki in East Flores Regency had a major impact on the community, with more than 13,176 people affected. The limited availability of professional psychological personnel in the affected areas increases the risk that symptoms of anxiety, trauma, and depression will develop into more severe psychological disorders. Therefore, effective and sustainable psychological interventions are needed to support adolescent survivors. The psychological intervention using the Photovoice technique for adolescent survivors of the Mount Lewotobi eruption aims to increase adolescents’ awareness of the psychological impacts of disasters, as well as to build hope and strengthen their coping skills in dealing with trauma. This intervention involved a non-governmental organization, the Indonesian Planned Parenthood Association (Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia/PKBI), through the PKBI youth forum in Lewolaga Village, East Flores. The methods employed included the Photovoice technique, group and individual counseling, and training in Psychological First Aid. Pre-test and post-test results showed an improvement from a pre-test score of 62.2% to a post-test score of 80.3%, with an average increase of 17.7%. The Photovoice technique was shown to provide participants with an opportunity to express thoughts and emotions related to traumatic experiences through a safe medium. Overall, this intervention was considered effective in enhancing adolescents’ capacity and was relevant to the psychosocial needs of disaster-affected communities.
Juliana BenuRizky Pradita ManafeMernon Yerlinda Carlista MageMardiana ArtatiEduardus J.
This community service activity was carried out because students at the vocational schools, especially accounting study program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat, had difficulty finding jobs (both during internships and after graduation). This was due to the lack of accounting jobs for SMK students, as companies considered that SMK students did not have sufficient accounting skills compared to vocational or undergraduate students. Therefore, SMK students needed additional skills, especially regarding the practical use of accounting software, to be able to compete with other job seekers. The use of accounting software makes the process of journaling and financial reporting easier and shorter. At school, students only learn one software program, MyOB, even though there are several types of accounting software used by companies, including Accurate, Zahir, MyOB, SAP, and others. This community service activity which was conducted by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta aimed to provide practical training on the use of Zahir Accounting software with participants of grade XII students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat. The training trainer was a highly communicative laboratory lecturer, so the material was delivered clearly. Feedback from participants was that 100% gave a positive response to this training and felt that Zahir software was easier to use than the software they learned at school. Critical issues arose from the reliance on manual bookkeeping, resulting in a lack of transparency, difficulties in fund classification, and risks of non-compliance with local regulatory bodies. The community service method involved intensive, four-day Technical Guidance. The comprehensive solution included implementing a simplified spreadsheet-based digital bookkeeping system, training in Functional Expense Reporting, and basic sustainability reporting. The key outcome was the successful adoption of the digital system and FER principles by the partner's staff. The partner can now generate a transparent Statement of Financial Activities that clearly segregates Program, Administration, and Fundraising costs. This service successfully enhanced the partner's financial accountability, directly supporting its long-term operational sustainability.
Elen PuspitasariEndang TjahjaningsihSri SudarsiCeacilia Sri MindartiAnwar MansyurAzizah SabanHow Shi MinRachma Puspa WardaniNurul Aini

This Community Service Program (PKM) was carried out in Cirarab Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, as an effort to address issues of low digital literacy, limited reading literacy facilities, and the lack of organized village environmental identity. The PKM activities included a socialization session on the dangers of fictitious (fake) links attended by 15 community members, the establishment of a reading corner based on recycled materials, and environmental organization through the installation of street and religious assembly name signs. The evaluation of the activities was conducted qualitatively through direct observation and question-and-answer sessions with three community representatives, without using pretests or posttests. The results showed that participants gained an initial understanding of the characteristics of fictitious links and the importance of information verification, the reading corner began to be used by children as a learning facility, and the village environment became more organized and easier to recognize. This activity demonstrates that community participation–based PKM can serve as an effective initial step in strengthening literacy and improving village environmental organization.
Tania Adinda Putri KushendarSalwa NurwardaniVivi WulandariAlya MileniaSiti Zulfatul RahmawatiRany HarsonoPutri AndiniFiqra AyudiaPanca Aryaduta IrwanTobing Yoan Philana ParlindunganWidodo
